Matthew Rollinson

Founder of LiCa Scientific and hands-on Recruiter working with the team.

I'm responsible for LiCa Scientific overall and spend a lot of my working week working on the projects in the business, interviewing candidates and discussing recruitment needs with clients.

My additional areas are in academic engagement, I work on helping people to access the scientific jobs market especially if seeking a first role in industry. I also work on helping with career advice, and general educational engagement.

I am open to discussions both short and long term about working with LiCa Scientific. Some of the clients we work with we spend many months briefing and discussing with before taking on their opportunities.

Finally, I am continuously working on improvement projects at LiCa Scientific. Recently this has been the roll-out of major changes across our temporary business, partnering up with Bright HR and Quickbooks and we are using technology across other areas of the business to support the scaling-up of this company.

This allows us to invest time in the most important thing we do, finding the best candidates for your company or the best job for you if you are seeking.

Finally, for the German speakers I have been learning your language for 5 years, fulfilling a lifelong ambition to be multilingual. While I did this for many reasons, as I progress in my language skills I'm more and more able to work in German, and as time goes on you may see more content and activities from me in the German markets!

This candidate is is an experienced QA and Validation Manager who has worked recently for a top European Pharmaceutical company concerned with contract development and manufacturing. He has worked on a lot of products here across tablets and injectables, dealing with validation of a rapidly changing landscape of processes in a GMP enrionment. The company is a specialist in manufacture of pharmaceuticals and take in projects to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently in a clean room environment. He had responsbiilities towards preparation of validation protocols, IQ, OQ and PQ and overseeing ‘shop floor’ activties. This involved data collation, coordination with departments, fluid communication and generally any abnomarlities and he gets accross it quickly. He has prepared the validaton master plan and developed standard operation procedures including facility, process and cleaning validations.

R&D Analytical Chemist and Synthetic Organic Chemist -

This candidate is experienced in working for two companies both global pharmaceutical. He is seeking a role in analytical chemistry, having a keen interests in LC-MS, HPLC, GC-MS, NMR and FTIR. He would like to find a role ideally in analytical chemistry which can apply his experience as a research chemist. He has experience of working in a GxP environment, working on controlled drugs and reviewing COSHH and risk assessments for potent material. He is experienced in method development, process investigation and compound characterisation. He holds an MChem and has experience of two roles, one as Analytical Development in a multidisciplinary department using HPLC, LC-MS, GC and GC-MS, the second role has been as a Synthetic Chemist working in API production in a GxP environment using reflux, distillation, separation, recrystallisation and workup. He is immediately available to interview or start a role, and is seeking this within the North West of the UK.
