What you’ll do
You will be covering synthesis chemistry in active pharmaceutical ingredients, and radiosynthesis, activities. This role will plan and perform syntheses and purification of various chemicals and labelled chemical entities within agreed timeframes. You will design synthetic routes, prepare cost estimates, client proposals, and facilitate projects in API development.
This role will manufacture both radio and stable isotopically labelled intermediates and API at the milligram to gram scale and synthetic intermediates and API at the tens if grams to kilo scale. As required this role will provide cover to manufacturing shifts so applicants should be prepared to have some working hours flexibility to do occasional shifts.
We are seeking a good understanding of process safety and hazard operability. Proficiency in carrying out kilo-scale chemical processing. Full awareness of the current regulatory environment, a comprehensive understanding of process analytical chemistry, impurity control and/or sufficient analytical skills to conduct in-process testing and a good understanding of the factors controlling API physical form.
