We are recruiting for a senior member of a pharmaceutical analytical chemistry team working on analytical method development. This role is to deliver methods for pharmaceutical product analysis, which at the initiation of the project will have little or no literature in place in a contract testing.
What you'll do
This role will be responsible for developing methods for clients pharmacueticals which will have marginal or zero literature produced so be 'from scratch', with validations and calibrations also falling under your remit. This is accross a range of dosage forms (solid, liquid and powders). Main techniques in analysis will be HPLC, UPLC, GC and UV Spectroscopy. This will also involve technical transfer of methods from clients. You will be working in a company with core values in teamwork, honesty and respect alongside a team of analytical chemists.
We expect that the successful candidate will be graduate or equivalent in chemistry with time served in a pharmaceutical analysis role in method development. You will be experienced in working to GMP (good manufacturing practice) and essentially an experienced operator in chromatography method development with a track record of problem solving and production of robust methodologies to analyse drugs and ultimately help ensure that drug products for patients are produced accurately chemically, with no contamination.
