Quality Assurance Engineers x 2

12 Month contract role
Our client is a global supplier of medical devices with a wide-reaching global footprint. They are currently recruiting for 2 Quality Assurance engineers to join the Quality Operations Team.
These roles will work on activities related to Quality Assurance around a major equipment relocation by our client. There are several factors that this role will oversee, and this calls for an experienced individual, well versed in compliance with Medical Devices Quality Assurance.
What you’ll do:
You’ll be supporting both the maintenance of the Dunstable QMS and the development of the Gargrave QMS for contract manufacturing.
Co-ordinating and completing investigations, records and reporting activities for:
- Customer complaints
- Change Controls
- Non-conformance (materials, processing and finished products)
- CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action)
- Audit findings (internal and External)
In addition supporting relocation of manufacturing equipment and knowledge to the Gargrave site, including:
- Approved supplier records
- Manufacturing process control
- Controlled installation and Qualification/Validation of all transferred equipment to Gargrave site
- Risk management activities
You will have demonstrated knowledge and experience of several international standards including ISO13485 and ISO14971. In additional you’ll have good statistical knowledge (e’g. Green Belt or Black Belt from certified program) and demonstrated computer skills. You’ll be an effective communicator with the ability to train colleagues and personnel.
Desirable: minimum 2 years experience within Medical Devices/Pharma Operations/Quality functions.
