Job Description
We are recruiting for a QA Officer for a successful and growing fine chemicals company in Manchester. They are a multinational business, their Manchester site has an excellent company culture with a great work environment and employment package on offer. This is a permanent role.
What you’ll do:
This role will ensure products (and service) meets the established standards of quality, administrating quality assurance standards and documentation management systems (such as those according to BS22716 (Cosmetics GMP)
You will play a key role in supporting our clients continuous improvement program. Key duties around this will include (but no be limited to):
• collect data to approve/release raw materials
• collect and compile statistical quality data
• prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
• carry out and document quality inspections
• maintain qualification of suppliers database at Manchester site
• support on-site audits conducted by external providers
• monitor corrective action progress
• conduct internal audits following the internal audit program
• supervise deviation management and change control activities
• monitor corrective and preventive actions of audits and deviations
• prepare and document procedures for the internal qualification of equipment
• batch manufacturing record review
• QA batch release
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
• document customer complaints and non-conformance issues
Your background:
You will be a graduate in Chemistry or Science related subject (HNC, HND, BSc) and/or possess certifications an advantage including Certificate in Quality Management, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma
We are interested in applicants with a grounding in quality inspection, auditing and testing experience (to GMP) and those who can bring experience with monitoring of corrective action programs. Any product or industry-specific experience from fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals or related is natrually advantageous and we’re also seeking strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
