We are recruiting for a Process Validation Engineer working as a key member of the R&D Team to help make the company process validation of new products a clear advantage for their Healthcare customers.  This advantage will be achieved by helping to fast track the existing product pipeline by developing and validating robust manufacturing processes.


Our client are a global supplier of bonding solutions and manufacturer of adhesive-based products for Healthcare and Industrial applications. With a wide-reaching global footprint, having 19 manufacturing and operations facilities in 10 countries across the world.


What you’ll do


We are seeking a candidate to Be predominantly involved with conducting engineering investigations into current manufacturing technologies, identifying solutions to potential problems and validating manufacturing processes to meet the requirements of the regulatory standards.  The work involves considerable experimentation based on engineering and materials behaviour principles.


The successful candidate will be a significant part in ensuring compliance of certain Design History Files, such as producing product specifications, product verification reports, validation master plans and process validation protocols, as well as organising and report stage gate reviews.

Often the work will be conducted in teams from the R&D, Quality and Operations departments or in close co-operation with a customer’s development team.


Your background


You will have a Technical/Scientific Degree level qualification in life science subject, or other related fields in addition to experience in the medical device field with process development, test methods development, protocol and report writing, design verification and experience presenting technical concepts.


Applicants must have demonstrated capabilities in developing, writing, and executing design validation protocols and reports, demonstrated application of statistical methodologies and experience in Medical Devices and working within FDA/ISO Quality System Requirements.


Our client would consider different Engineering disciplines (mechanical, chemical, biomedical) for the position.


The salary on offer is £40,000 per annum
