We are recruiting for a Customer Operations Specialist to perform customer service activities for internal and external customers. This person will be technically knowledgeable of the site’s products, services and local processes and be able to use that understanding to provide solutions to customer requirements.
Our client are a global supplier of bonding solutions and manufacturer of adhesive-based products for Healthcare and Industrial applications. With a wide-reaching global footprint, having 19 manufacturing and operations facilities in 10 countries across the world.
What you’ll do
We are seeking a candidate to ensure advocacy for the customer and work closely with Operations, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Customer Solutions and Sales to provide solutions that fulfill our customers’ needs with speed, accuracy, and exceptional communication
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the quoting, order, and configuration engineering processes at the facility. This position may interact directly with customers through phone calls, conference calls, WebEx, email, etc. as appropriate at the site or in the field.
The Customer Operations Specialist will be a member of the Site Leadership Team to ensure the customer needs are considered in all site plans.
Suitable candidates will have a 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years’ experience in medical device or related field.
Ideally candidates will have a background in a customer relationship role within a scientific arena having developed customer relationships working directly with customers and partnering with and communicating with customers and other functions (operations, quality, supply chain) to fully understand customer requirements.
The salary on offer is £ 35,000
