Job Description

We are hiring for a business development associate on a temporary contract. This role is to cover an absence of over 6 months with the possibility of a permanent position in future.

What you’ll do

The role will be maintaining and assisting client relationships with new and existing client, following up on completed projects, communicating at a high level about the services of a contract manufacturer in the pharmaceuticals field.

This will involve attendance at conferences/exhibitions/networking events, assisting in resolving any issues with complaints, supporting the field sales staff and maintaining a database of proposals and prospective contacts. You will be liaising with internal experts in the business to mediate the communication of commercially relevant information, arranging costing matrices and working with operations to maintain awareness of pipeline projects and capacity constraints.

Your background

We are seeking someone that can demonstrate an understanding of client relationship management within the pharmaceutical services area. You will have a good understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, ideally via qualification in a relevant field (i.e. scientific higher education) and also experience of business development or client relationship management in this area. Proposal writing, manging contact with your network and . Naturally we’re seeking someone who is a confident communicator, who can develop good rapport with clients and internal contacts acting as a link between business development and operations.
