This candidate has established himself in the world of scientific sales working in chemicals, which is a job he enjoys a great deal. He is looking to move into a team environment from a work-from-home situation. He is performing well in his role working on the spectrum of deals from small to large, and has gained the most satisfaction from the larger deal sizes and developed a competence in long sales cycles which he’d like to develop further, where his ability to translate complex chemistry into a clear value proposition can be fully utilised.

 

He has developed a network within the academic, chemical and biotech landscapes and is interested in lab based sectors such as biotechnology, renewables, and academic research. Having recruited in the sales market for many years, we also feel this candidate is a future leadership prospect who envisions himself in a Sales Management capacity. This is part of the reason for moving role, and he would like to work onsite and more closely with his team as he is currently in a remote function, and knows he will develop better working closely with his peer group.
