The candidate possesses a strong scientific foundation, before growing their career as a strategic commercial leader, developing and executing sales strategies across the UK, Benelux, Nordic, and the US/Americas markets where they have spent several years focussed on growth via a strategy of distribution agents and a direct sales force.
This is a major set piece element to their career as they took this from to over a 16-year period as Sales Director. This division was focusing on aditives with many products being preservatives and biocides used in household goods. This included scaling the sales team from 2 to 7 staff, and building the distributor network.
Their expertise includes managing high-value key accounts, specifically citing experience with major global FMCG accounts, with account values reaching several million.
Beyond sales, this individual brings substantial technical and regulatory knowledge. Previous roles involved acting as the regulatory point of contact for technical literature, ensuring product compliance with US standards, and providing technical support and training to distributors and customers
