Our candidate is a Masters graduate who has spent the past year in organic synthesis producing small molecules. These molecules were monomers to be used in larger nanomaterials for some big name clients! His role included full synthesis from planning routes, to executing the synthesis, purifying and characterising by NMR and IR.
His masters in Drug Discovery and Organic Chemistry also gave him experience in synthesis, completing his project on Mollecular Modelling and Ligand Synthesis.
