This candidate is currently finishing their Masters in Analytical Chemistry, where they have been studying both the theory and practical applications of a range of analytical techniques including HPLC, GC-MS, NMR and ICP-MS.
They have completed a research project as part of her degree which has involved the synthesis of a modified version of metronidazole antibiotic which will hopefully have a more potent antibacterial action.
They are passionate about both analytical and synthetic chemistry and is looking for a laboratory based role where they can develop their skills within an industrial setting.
