I am a highly motivated PhD student at the University of York, who is looking to start my career in an industry setting. I will be available to start in October 2022. I consider myself to be a fast learner and can quickly adapt to new challenges and environments.
Our candidate is a talented PhD student who will be completing his doctorate at the end of September. He has used a multitude of laboratory techniques to complete his project which was based around the synthesis of small molecules. These include litigation, using inert conditions, cross coupling, chromatography, NMR, Mass Spec, purification and Schlenk techniques.
He has also done a great deal of process optimisation and improving the scope for reaction conditions.
