We are working with a multinational fine chemical company, who are seeking an organic chemist.
What you’ll do:
The role will see you join a team of organic chemists and work on projects to synthesise macrocycles.
You will be working on formation of large-ring chemistry, using your knowledge as an organic chemist to favour this formation and avoid formation of small rings/polymers.
This will involve using intramolecular processes and template reactions to guide towards the formation of macrocycles.
Your background:
We are seeking someone with a PhD or equivalent, and a strong synthetic background.
Ideally multiple years of synthesis experience. Naturally we are keen to speak with candidates with direct experience of macrocycle chemistry and will also look at other areas of chemistry experience that give you transferrable skills.
