The PhD worked on synthesis of chiral amines and amides in flow using immobilised enzymes, continuous purification of complex reaction mixtures using novel separation techniques and using whole-cell systems to perform asymmetric ketone reductions with integrated continuous separations and scale-up (20 L scale), to improve current batch processes. Is currently in write-up and keen to attend interviews during this time with a view to starting in February/March 2025.
