Summary:
Our client is a medical devices company whose products help patients heal better. They have a comprehensive range of medical solutions supported by a large body of clinical evidence, many of which are manufactured at their location in Gargrave. This role will provide support to the release of these products. We are seeking a candidate with experience of working within a Quality environment within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical Industry.
A Chemistry Degree or equivalent Science Degree is beneficial as the batch review process includes review of analytical data. Professional/ technical experience of HPLC, GC and GLP is desirable along with other laboratory analytical techniques.
Knowledge of the manufacturing process within Biocides or Advanced Wound Care is also an advantage.
The role will carry out:
Comply with site Health and Safety procedures
Batch Review and Release for WIP and FG products across biocides & wound management, including sterile batch review
Provide active support to operations for correcting paperwork in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with company GDP policy and general GLP, cGMP principles
Generation of certificates for export products & regulatory requirements
Primary point of contact for batch release queries
Liaising with other departments regarding priority release
Assist in deviation investigations
Documentation reviews and updates including those associated to periodic reviews
Generation of department metrics and monthly reports
Acting as deputy for the Product Release Team Leader as required
Working with Quality colleagues on improvement projects related to the role
Taking ownership of Product Release processes
Provide training in product release processes

Computer Literate (MRP, Excel, Outlook etc)
Ability to balance the need to work as an effective team member while proactively working on own initiative when required.
Degree in relevant discipline
